Hello! I'm Kim Karr, an artist living in North Carolina. I work in a huge range of media and styles, as well as with many subjects, but I have the most passion for painting and portraiture. Not everything I make is in the creepy vein, but my favorite thing to hear from someone viewing my work is that it's "unsettling". I love the absurd and uncomfortable, as well as the decorative and beautiful.
I work in high-volume fine art printing & production during the day. At night I try to keep up with different artistic projects, and watch lots of horror and sci-fi with my fiance, Gene. This blog is an attempt to explore both of these interests, and share various things related to them.
